Our volunteers are the heartbeat of the Sheikh Nazim Sufi Trust. Whether you have two hours a month or a regular weekly morning, we offer supportive, accredited, and meaningful roles that directly empower our North London community.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

All roles include full safeguarding induction, ongoing mentoring, and local travel expense reimbursement.

Food Relief & Warm Spaces
Community Kitchen Assistant
Help prepare nutritious hot meals, package emergency grocery parcels, and ensure welcoming table hospitality for local families and vulnerable elders.

Education & Skills
Language & Literacy Tutor
Facilitate conversational English learning circles, foundational literacy, and digital skill guidance for newly arrived neighbors and adult learners.

Housing Advice Support
Work alongside our caseworkers to assist residents with council housing forms, appointment bookings, utility grant applications, and statutory advocacy.

Heritage & Green Space Steward
Care for our peaceful heritage courtyard garden, maintain sustainable raised planters, and support community archive exhibitions celebrating local history.
